In determining the sample size, the researcher purposefully selected 200 respondents and 150 were validated. Self-constructed and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using frequency tables, while the hypotheses were tested using Pearson correlation statistical tool, SPSS v23. The result of the findings reveals that there is a significant relationship between survey strategy and effective product feedback. The study also revealed that school dropout rate has a negative effect on academic performance of junior secondary school students. Furthermore, the study revealed that there is a relationship between absenteeism and student’s academic achievement. Therefore, guidance/Counselors in schools should be more alive to their responsibilities, in particular, sensitize the students regularly, on the importance of education, as well as the consequences of dropout. To mention but a few.
